Greenberg Stables is a small private barn with personal care. We are
located on green pastures surrounded by wooded acreage in Conroe,
About Greenberg Stables owner, Sharon Greenberg:
Greenberg Stables is owned and operated by Sharon Greenberg
and her husband Allen. They reside in a home adjacent to the ranch property
with a beautiful view of the stables and pasture from their back porch. They
have two grown sons, Jason and Zachary, who are both married and reside in the
area.
Sharon has always loved animals. A native of Maine and past resident of South Florida, she was heavily involved with the organization, Rescue Horses. She has lived in Texas since 2002, and enjoys trail riding, caring for horses, and watching them interact and play in the pasture.
Sharon has two horses named Pilgrim (shown left) and Maxie, a dog named Krissy, and several cats. In fact, roaming the ranch you will meet a number of cats who were abandoned out in this rural area, but rescued and domesticated by Sharon and Allen.
Greenberg Stables and its surrounding acreage are dotted
with tall stately pines and sprawling live oaks. There are paths good for
riding in the land around the ranch, and Sharon
often rides them with her friends and family.
Beside the barn and stables, there is an insulated storage building complete with a futon couch, stereo, CD player, television, refrigerator and plenty of horse magazines, where you can relax after long rides through the trees.
